Exotic Skies Update + A Great Cause

It's been a while since I've written anything and I wanted to do a quick check-up and let you guys know how things are going!

I'm currently taking a break from writing while I go through flight school! I recently got my private pilot's license and have been enjoying the process, (although I miss having more time to write on here). Recently, I renewed the license for this website for the next few years and will continue to write more later this year when I complete my program!

My Parents and I When I First Started Learning How To Fly

On another note, I want to share a great cause. A couple of years ago, my sister Tamar traveled to Tanzania to volunteer at a school for underprivileged children. She fell in love with the children and the community and is now trying to make an even bigger change.

The school, (Ekica), is located in Arusha Tanzania and helps children with little access to resources go to school. In recent years, the school has been able to expand their program and help families in the community through education, farming, and water projects. The school provides education and lunch to the children, (sometimes that meal is the child’s only).

My Sister Tamar With Children From The School

My mother has started a GoFundMe to raise money for the Ekica school for underprivileged children and provide desperately needed funding for teacher salaries, kids’ lunches and live chickens for sustainability. It really is amazing how little can make a difference, it takes just $1.50 to feed a child at the school for an entire week! Ekica is also listed as a charitable organization (UK registered charity 1183980).

Please check it out and share it with your friends and family! It is an amazing opportunity to change the lives of children and families. I appreciate everyone for reading this, and I cannot wait to get back to writing for you guys!
